Make Your Own Website
Here are some things you'll need to know if you want to make your own site.
- How to design your site - To create the graphics for the design you need to know how to use a drawing, painting or photo manipulation program, like Photoshop.
- How to build your site - Websites are written in a language, or code, called HTML. Most designers use a visual HTML editor, which allows one to write code by manipulating visual elements. So you need to know how to use an HTML editor. The most well known editors are Front Page and Dreamweaver. Most professionals use Dreamweaver, because it writes the best HTML code.
- More stuff than I can go into here - There are some good classes at Front Range Community College and Red Rocks Community College. I offer private lessons in Dreamweaver and Flash. I also offer classes for kids.
