Internet Service Provider (ISP)
When you connect to the Internet you go through a Internet Service Provider. You may connect with dial-up, cable or dsl.
If you have Internet service at home you are probably paying a monthly fee to an ISP, such as Qwest (or your local phone company), AOL, or Earthlink.
