A little about me.

I hung out my shingle as Sidewalk Café Design in 1998, but came to web design by a somewhat circuitous route. I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder, and then a master’s in educational technology from San Diego State University. I’m also a sculptor and textile artist.

What’s that mean to you? It means I’m a good listener and I ask questions that get to the heart of the matter. It means I’m patient at explaining how technology works, and how it can work for you. And finally that I’m a creative soul. In short, I have intuitive, technical, and visual skill that combine nicely into a web designer package.

I specialize in websites for authors and writers, and have also helped coaches, educators and small businesses get noticed online. My clients say my designs are intuitive, elegant, and help them do business better. Click on my portfolio to see some examples.

Boulder, if you’ve not been here, is a great book town; there are more than 40 book stores within 15 miles of my office. Also, many lovely sidewalk cafés.  If you don’t live nearby, no worries. We can have virtual coffee over the phone.

Give me a call at (720) 304-6467 or email me, and we’ll start the conversation about the website you’ve always wanted.
